Project: Author genesis part 3

On the part 3 of this project we formed a group (Aimee Schiele, Eva Lynch, Charlotte Simpson, Christian Manuel and Teemos) to create a manifesto and a society. the manifesto would tell and show the rules that our created society had. 

So as a group we decided to create an isolated, cannibalistic, nature lover, masochist kind of tribe. We wanted to give it an ancient look to it so we went for some research on this matter.

For the medium we were obliged to use a specific printer (which ill add the name later), but before we printed it we could do whatever, so we decided to use textures for the backgrounds to highlight our illustrations instead of leaving a white background.

Research

For the research I started with looking through other people's art on pinterest, searching information about ancient tribes like aztecs, mayans... then ended up watching a movie by the name of "ElDourado" wich was exactly the kind of visual that our group needed to look carefully at, to help us create our own style.
